We really enjoyed this year's Summer Party. The weather was perfect, the turnout was great and the program was amazing. And how exactly did we spend our afternoon together, which lasted until the evening hours? :)
As mentioned, we really enjoyed this year's Summer Party. The weather reported showers and cooler temperatures, but in the end the sun shone and we basked all afternoon with a drink or some goodies in hand :)
So what was our program?
The event took place in the Open Garden in the centre of Brno, where you can find an oasis of peace and after a welcome toast and a speech by our country manager, Jirka Goliáš, we were divided into 3 groups. There were 3 stations prepared for us. One was a tasting of several samples of wine from the Young Winemakers group, followed by an insight into the secrets of beer production of a small brewery with a tasting and the icing on the cake was cooking in groups under the tutelage of a French chef from quality ingredients and preparing the dough for home baked bread in a local oven. Everything we prepared and cooked was also eaten for dinner, plus there were several varieties of delicious cheeses and goodies from the grill. After this gastronomic training, my colleagues prepared a surprise knowledge quiz, where we laughed heartily at our common ignorance, e.g. how much does an average stork nest weigh ;-D
Perhaps the atmosphere of the meeting, the enthusiasm for cooking and the concentration in beer tasting and wine recognition also shines from the photos. The cheerful mood accompanied us until the evening hours during the last beer in the streets of Brno city centre:) And now we are looking forward to the next event together, which will be the Christmas party.
